OWNER: Sam and Jill Marino of Jessup, PA. VEHICLE: 1994 Dodge Ram ENGINE: 1994 Chevy LS-7 454 cu.in. CARBURETION: two 800 cfm. Holleys atop a 6-71 Weiand blower HORSEPOWER: 950 TRANSMISSION: TH400 RUNNING GEAR: a NP203 and 2 1/2 ton GMC transfer cases, 2 1/2 ton Rockwell axles with Detroit lockers TIRES: 48X25X20 inch Goodyear Terras SUSPENSION: Trailmaster coils, and 16 Trailmaster N7 shocks later changed to Nitrogen charged shocks, no springs. FEATURES: Lund Racer Back, and visor, GTS light covers I have seen Sam and his many recreations in Bloomsburg, PA. for years. This truck started out as a wrecked stock 1971 Jeep Commando. Sam built it up and called it Porcupine. Then Porcupine II, then came the Dodge body, then new paint job, then new suspension, then bigger tires. Last I heard the truck had flipped and been sold. You can see the Porcupine II in my show truck site under Jeeps. |
